So since it has been yet another long-ass time since my last update here, I figured I would throw out another one. I have been working quite hard on my RPG, though I have had less time than I would have like to do so.
I have spent the majority of my time looking for a job, but I have made sizable progress on my RPG as well! I have completely revamped my class feature system, rather than getting a feature every few levels, you instead gain a certain number of feature points per level, spending them to learn your class features. I felt like this would further enhance the feeling of freedom of choice I have designed my game around since I want people to be able to make their character as unique as possible.
I also finally bit the bullet and re-wrote the entirety of my damage curve, meaning I re-wrote the damage numbers of every single effect currently in the game to fit my new damage curve, which should make things a bit more balanced in terms of the player damage output, but since this game has never really been tested I'm not sure how anything will work once I actually play it.
